一、当期培训班概况简介

山东大学（威海）517888九五至尊线路测全球胜任力研究院首期“讲好山东故事”暨第四期国际评论英文创作培训班自发布招生启事以来便受到多方关注，共接收学员141人，其中男性37人，女性104人；国内学员138人，国际学员3人；涉及翻译学、新闻传播学、汉语国际教育学、地理学、历史学、哲学、语言学、教育学等数二十类专业门类，既包括文史哲，也涵盖数理化；覆盖全球30余所高校、3家媒体和3家公司，吸引了大批研究生、高校教师、媒体人士、公务人员、律师和企业家的加入，反响热烈。

课程进行期间，培训班邀请了海内外知名教授和业界专家进行授课，通过提升学员跨文化沟通能力、强化学员国际视野意识等途径，促进了学员英文书面表达和说理技巧的提升，为增强青年全球胜任力、构建人类命运共同体作出贡献。

二、会议主要内容

为鼓励和激励学员们继续撰作英文评论向世界讲好地方故事、讲好中国故事，培训班将为表现突出的学员授予优秀作品奖、优秀学员奖和优良学员奖，并颁发电子奖状，邀请学员代表作主题发言。同时，为表彰和奖励导师们在培训班学员英文评论创作和发表等方面做出的积极努力，培训班将为有突出贡献的导师授予优秀培训导师奖、国际培训导师奖和优秀辅导员奖，并邀请导师代表作主题发言。

Agenda for the Closing Ceremony of the Workshop “Telling Shandong Stories Well” and the Award Ceremony of the Four Sessions of English Commentary Training Courses Hosted by Global Engagement Academy in the School of Culture and Communication

1. Overview of the Workshop “Telling Shandong Stories Well”

The workshop "Telling Shandong Stories Well" which was hosted by Global Engagement Academy in the School of Culture and Communication at Shandong University (Weihai) last year has received widespread attention since the release of the enrollment notice. According to the statistics, a total of 141 students were enrolled, with 37 males and 104 females, 138 domestic students and 3 international students. The trainees’ majors include twenty academic categories, including translation studies, journalism and communication studies, Chinese international education, geography, history, philosophy, linguistics, education and so on, covering more than 30 universities, 3 media outlets, and 3 companies worldwide that has attracted numerous graduate students, university teachers, media professionals, civil servants, lawyers, and entrepreneurs to join, with a warm response.

The workshop invited renowned professors and industry experts from both domestic and foreign countries to give lectures. Through enhancing students' cross-cultural communication skills and strengthening their international awareness, it promoted the development of their English written expression and reasoning skills, making contributions to enhancing the global competence of young people and building a community with a shared future for mankind.

2. Main Content of the Meeting

To encourage and motivate students to continue making contributions to telling good local stories and Chinese stories to the world through the medium of "English commentary", the workshop will award prizes to outstanding students and invite some of them to make presentations on their behalf.

Coincidentally, in order to recognize and reward the positive efforts made by the mentors in the creation and publication of English commentaries by the trainees, the workshop will award prizes to outstanding mentors and invite representatives to give keynote speeches to make students further improve.
